Softball Recap: Irwin County Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Irwin County's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Wilcox County Patriots. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Indians also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Irwin County pushed their record up to 28-4 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Wilcox County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-11.
