Football Recap: Smithsburg Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Smithsburg lost against Brunswick back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Leopards took a 25-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Railroaders.

Although Smithsburg took the loss, they still got scores from Dakota Sowers and Nick Roncone.

Smithsburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Brunswick, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Smithsburg wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 48-0 victory against Poolesville on the 3rd. As for Brunswick, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-13 loss against Saint James on the 2nd.
