Softball Game Preview: Franklin County Lions vs. Rabun County Wildcats + Official Tickets

The Franklin County Lions will head out on the road to face off against the Rabun County Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Franklin County is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Franklin County is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since September 11th on Thursday. They lost 13-3 to Stephens County.

Meanwhile, Rabun County came up short against Jefferson on Monday and fell 6-1.

Rabun County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Loren Mazarky, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. That double marked the first that Mazarky has hit this season.

Franklin County's defeat dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Rabun County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-21.

Everything went Franklin County's way against Rabun County in their previous matchup back in August, as Franklin County made off with a 15-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
