Basketball Recap: Sacred Heart Academy Comes Up Short

After flying high against Penn Wood last Friday, Sacred Heart Academy came back down to earth. The Sacred Heart Academy Lions fell 50-39 to the Academy Park Knights on Monday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Lions came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Knights are ranked 338th).

Sacred Heart Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Academy Park, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Sacred Heart Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mt. St. Joseph Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Academy Park, they will challenge Chester at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
