Bedford won the last time they faced Cass Tech and things went their way on Saturday too. The Kicking Mules had just enough and edged out the Technicians 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Kicking Mules.

Lucy Monahan paced Bedford's offense, picking up five kills. Monahan got some help from Cady Fischer and her seven assists. Finally, Hayden Fausze kept Bedford's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Bedford's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Cass Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-1 record this season.

Coincidentally, Bedford and Cass Tech will both be playing Stoney Creek the next time they take the court. The Kicking Mules will head out to face the Cougars at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Technicians will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
