Basketball Game Preview: Carrollton Trojans vs. North Forsyth Raiders

The Carrollton Trojans will face off against the North Forsyth Raiders on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Carrollton comes in on five and North Forsyth on 29.

Carrollton is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They escaped with a win against North Paulding by the margin of a single free throw, 44-43.

Meanwhile, North Forsyth faced Archer in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. Everything went North Forsyth's way against Archer as North Forsyth made off with a 64-42 victory. The Raiders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 games by 20 points or more this season.

Carrollton pushed their record up to 22-7 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.1 points over those games. As for North Forsyth, their victory bumped their record up to 29-0.

Carrollton came up short against North Forsyth in their previous matchup back in January of 2016, falling 54-47. Can Carrollton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
