Soccer Recap: Capital Victorious

It was a proper cat-fight when Capital challenged Piedra Vista on Thursday. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Jaguars who were credited with the win. The Capital Jaguars got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Piedra Vista Panthers' three. Sebastian Alvarez had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Capital.

Capital's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Piedra Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Capital wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 0-0 loss against Albuquerque Academy on the 12th. As for Piedra Vista, they have also already played their next game, a 1-0 win against Farmington on the 12th.
