Basketball Recap: Lompoc Braves vs. Nordhoff Rangers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lompoc). They claimed a resounding 60-32 win over the Nordhoff Rangers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.
Lompoc's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isabelle Morales, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave Morales a new career-high in rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tara Terrones, who posted seven points, to go along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Cadence Renshaw and Crystal Ramirez certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Renshaw put up 11 points in addition to seven boards and five blocks, while Ramirez had 12 points and three steals. Renshaw is crushing it when it comes to blocks: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
