Basketball Game Preview: Skyline Titans vs. Natomas Nighthawks

The Skyline Titans and the Natomas Nighthawks will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Skyline has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Friday, Skyline was fully in charge, breezing past McClymonds 53-16. With the Titans ahead 28-4 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Natomas unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell to Sutter 51-46.

Skyline has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.2 points per game. As for Natomas, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Everything came up roses for Skyline against Natomas in their previous meeting back in December of 2014, as the squad secured a 70-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Skyline since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
