Basketball Game Preview: Peters Township Indians vs. Indiana Little Indians

The Peters Township Indians will challenge the Indiana Little Indians on Wednesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Peters Township is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They walked away with a 66-58 victory over Fox Chapel. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Foxes are ranked 276th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Indiana beat Moon Area 44-39 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Little Indians.

Indiana pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Peters Township, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season.

Peters Township and Indiana were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, but Peters Township came up empty-handed after a 55-54 loss. Can Peters Township avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
