Basketball Recap: Hamilton Skates Past Santa Rosa Academy with Ease

Hamilton lost to Santa Rosa Academy back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Hamilton Bobcats breezed by the Santa Rosa Academy Rangers to the tune of 55-15. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 40 points or more this season.

Leading Hamilton to victory were Azul Cervantez and Shaya Jangula. Cervantez posted 30 points, while Jangula put up 18 points. With that strong performance, Cervantez is now averaging an impressive 15.7 points per game.

Hamilton pushed their record up to 7-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 37.2 points. As for Santa Rosa Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Hamilton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-40 defeat against San Jacinto Leadership Academy on the 15th. Santa Rosa Academy has also already played their next game, a 46-5 loss against Desert Christian Academy on the 10th.
