Baseball Recap: Tattnall Square Academy Comes Up Short

Tattnall Square Academy and Brookstone squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Tattnall Square Academy had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for Tattnall Square Academy and nudges their season record down to 24-8. As for Brookstone, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-6 record this season.

Tattnall Square Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brookstone, they will square off against First Presbyterian Day at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their 24th straight victory, something the Cougars surely won't give up without a fight.
