It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Oneonta ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Hayden Wildcats. The Redskins' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

The team relied heavily on Carter Clyde, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Oneonta's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Hayden, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oneonta will take on West End at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hayden, they will host Jasper at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hayden's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Jasper's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
