Baseball Recap: Clarke Central Takes a Loss

Clarke Central fell victim to Oconee County and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Oconee County Warriors, falling 10-0. The Gladiators haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Clarke Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Oconee County, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Coming up, Clarke Central will take on Habersham Central at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. As for Oconee County, they will face off against East Hall at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oconee County's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so East Hall's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
