Football Recap: Oldham County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Oldham County lost against Trinity back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colonels had to suffer through a 52-3 loss at the hands of the Shamrocks. While losing is never fun, the Colonels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky football rankings (they are ranked 60th, while the Shamrocks are ranked first).

Trinity found their leader in sophomore Anthony Lowe, who threw for 193 yards and five touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Ashton Taylor, who gained 55 total yards.

This is the second loss in a row for Oldham County and nudges their season record down to 5-4. As for Trinity, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2.

Looking ahead, Oldham County will venture away from home to face off against Lafayette at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
