Soccer Game Preview: Castle Park vs. San Ysidro

The Castle Park Trojans will take on the San Ysidro Cougars at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Castle Park will be strutting in after a win while San Ysidro will be coming in after a loss.

Castle Park's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against High Tech CV as Castle Park made off with a 3-0 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Trojans as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when San Ysidro faced off against Morse on Monday. San Ysidro came up short against Morse, falling 6-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Cougars haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Castle Park picked up their first home victory, bumping their record up to 6-7-1. As for San Ysidro, they now have a losing record at 7-8-1.
