Baseball Game Preview: Georgia Christian Generals vs. Southland Academy Raiders

The Georgia Christian Generals will take on the Southland Academy Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Georgia Christian has six straight wins, Southland Academy has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Georgia Christian proved they can win big two weeks ago (they won by seven) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 victory over Brooks County. Georgia Christian's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Southland Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.
