Baseball Recap: Windsor Academy Takes a Loss

Windsor Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 17-3 to the Trinity Christian Crusaders. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 11-1 to the Crusaders when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Avery Moore was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. That hit was his first of the season.

Windsor Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Trinity Christian, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor Academy will challenge Trinity Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trinity Christian, they will face off against Piedmont Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Piedmont Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Trinity Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
