Basketball Game Preview: Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs vs. Tyrone Golden Eagles

The Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs and the Tyrone Golden Eagles will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Friday, Claysburg-Kimmel came up short against Tussey Mountain and fell 47-35. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Cory Walter put forth a good effort for the losing side as he dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 boards. That's the most boards he has posted since back in January. Brayden Haney was another key player, putting up eight points.

Even though they lost, Claysburg-Kimmel smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Tyrone put another one in the bag last Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by a 75-53 margin over Clearfield. Fans of the Golden Eagles have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Tyrone's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
