Snowflake is a perfect 3-0 against Round Valley since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lobos will head out to square off against the Elks at 12:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Snowflake turned things around against Blue Ridge on Thursday. They never let the Yellow Jackets get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Lobos considering their two-run performance the game before.

Meanwhile, Round Valley made easy work of Pinon on Tuesday and carried off a 17-2 victory.

Cason Finch was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double.

In other batting news, Round Valley got a massive performance out of Jeffery Cochran, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Brody Crick was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with five stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI.

Round Valley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in 13 consecutive contests.
