Basketball Game Preview: Jordan Panthers vs. Woodrow Wilson Bruins

The Jordan Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Woodrow Wilson Bruins at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Jordan is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Long Beach Poly just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They came up short against the Jackrabbits, falling 45-25. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 344th, while the Jackrabbits are ranked 91st).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-26, which was the final score in Woodrow Wilson's tilt against Lakewood on Wednesday. The Bruins haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Woodrow Wilson's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Jordan, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-11.

Jordan strolled past Woodrow Wilson in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 62-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jordan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
