After low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Portal brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They put the hurt on the Jenkins County War Eagles with a sharp 10-4 win on Wednesday. The Panthers have beaten the War Eagles the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the War Eagles has come to flipping the script.

Portal's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Jenkins County, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-6.

Coming up, Portal will venture away from home to challenge Metter at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jenkins County, they will welcome Claxton at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
