Basketball Recap: Lackawanna Trail Comes Up Short

Lackawanna Trail lost against Montrose back in February of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lackawanna Trail Lions were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 37-36 to the Montrose Meteors. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lackawanna Trail's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Montrose, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-7.

Lackawanna Trail will square off against Forest City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Montrose has already played their next contest (against Lake-Lehman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
