Soccer Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison managed to keep up with Shaker Heights until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Blue Streaks lost 7-0 to the Red Raiders. Madison were not able to make up for their defeat to Shaker Heights from their previous meeting back in October of 2015.

This is the second loss in a row for Madison and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Shaker Heights, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Madison will welcome South at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shaker Heights, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Austintown-Fitch at 7:00 p.m.
