Basketball Recap: Apache Junction Comes Up Short

Apache Junction was the 75-61 winner over Globe when they last played one another back in February of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Prospectors were beaten by the Tigers 67-31 on Friday. The Prospectors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Apache Junction's record now sits at 2-18. As for Globe, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Apache Junction will square off against Seton Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Prospectors will need to watch out since the Sentinels have now posted at least 55 points in their last five matchups. As for Globe, they will take on Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Gophers have now posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
