Football Recap: Mounds View Takes a Loss

After flying high against Roseville last Friday, Mounds View came back down to earth. The Mustangs had to suffer through a 49-14 loss at the hands of the Maple Grove Crimson. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-14.

Although Mounds View took the loss, they still got scores from Beckham Wheeler and Ben Mugisa.

Mounds View now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Maple Grove, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Mounds View will host Stillwater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Maple Grove, they will venture away from home to face off against Edina at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
