Basketball Game Preview: Terra Linda Trojans vs. Petaluma Trojans

The Terra Linda Trojans just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Petaluma Trojans at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

On Friday, Terra Linda took a blow against Redwood, falling 85-25. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 895th, while the Giants are ranked 120th).

Meanwhile, Petaluma played a tough matchup on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 69-21 loss at the hands of Justin-Siena. The Trojans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-13.

Terra Linda's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Petaluma, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Terra Linda skirted past Petaluma 43-41 when the teams last played back in December of 2018. Will Terra Linda repeat their success, or does Petaluma have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
