Kearney has gone a perfect 10-0 against Raytown South recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Cardinals at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Kearney has three straight wins, Raytown South has 11 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Kearney and Winnetonka had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bulldogs blew past the Griffins 10-0 on Thursday. Considering the Bulldogs have won six matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Winnetonka's batters probably weren't too happy with Kate Landewee, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 12 Ks (she gave up zero walks). Landewee has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single hit any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Reese Narron was excellent, going 4-for-5 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Kennedi Casey, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Raytown South duked it out with Excelsior Springs on Monday. The Cardinals lost 20-0 to the Tigers.

Kearney's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Raytown South, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Raytown South's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Kearney has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .458. It's a different story for Raytown South, though, as they've only averaged .343. Will they be able to contain Kearney's hitters?

Kearney took their win against Raytown South in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 19-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
