Softball Recap: Rome Find Success

Rome won the last time they faced Coosa and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wolves came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 10-5. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Reese Torimoto was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Brooklyn Landsdell, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Rome's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rome will face off against Alexander at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Wolves their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Coosa, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Walker at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
