Soccer Recap: Macon County Triumphs

Macon County won the last time they faced Rutland and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Macon County Bulldogs came out on top against the Rutland Hurricanes by a score of 5-3. Considering the Bulldogs' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Ifechukwu Anagbogu and Jordan Pulido scored all five of Macon County's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Macon County's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Rutland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Macon County will face off against Manchester at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Rutland, they will square off against Pike County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
