Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt lost against Centennial back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Roosevelt Mustangs took a hard 63-47 fall against the Centennial Huskies.

Roosevelt's defeat was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Centennial, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-8.

Roosevelt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-49 loss against El Dorado on the 18th. As for Centennial, they will take on Piedmont at 10:30 a.m. on Monday. Centennial knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Piedmont likes a good challenge.
