Baseball Recap: Whitehall Comes Up Short

Whitehall fell victim to Mona Shores and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Sailors, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their meetings with the Sailors: they've now lost six in a row.

Whitehall's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Mona Shores, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitehall will welcome Shelby at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mona Shores, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Rockford at 7:00 p.m.
