Basketball Recap: Shade Comes Up Short

Shade lost against Meyersdale back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Shade Panthers fell 43-35 to the Meyersdale Red Raiders. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shade's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Meyersdale, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11.

Shade won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Turkeyfoot Valley Area at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Meyersdale, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against North Star at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meyersdale is facing North Star at the right time seeing as North Star is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
