Soccer Game Preview: Valley Forge vs. North Royalton

Valley Forge is 0-3 against North Royalton since October of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. The Patriots will face off against the Bears at 7:00 p.m.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Valley Forge's offense. They lost 8-0 to Bay last Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Valley Forge can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 290th, while Bay are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday North Royalton sidestepped Hudson for a 2-1 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for North Royalton.

Valley Forge now has a losing record of 7-8-2. As for North Royalton, their win bumped their record up to 10-3-3.

Valley Forge came up short against North Royalton when the teams last played back in September of 2017, falling 3-1. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
