Softball Recap: Glasgow's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Glasgow entered their tilt with Brunswick on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over the Wildcats. The Yellowjackets' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three games.

Brenna Adams was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Halle Fuemmeler, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Glasgow kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive contests.

Glasgow's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Brunswick, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Glasgow will head out to square off against Sturgeon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brunswick, they will host Meadville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
