Softball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Akron-Westfield

Akron-Westfield waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 10-7 win over the West Sioux Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-1 on June 3rd.

Akron-Westfield's victory bumped their record up to 17-2. As for West Sioux, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-10.

Akron-Westfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 10-8 defeat against West Lyon on the 1st. West Sioux has also already played their next contest (against Central Lyon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
