Soccer Recap: Bacon County Takes a Loss

Bacon County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane, falling 7-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Bacon County were already down 3-0.

Bacon County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Fitzgerald, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Bacon County and Fitzgerald will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time Bacon County sees the pitch they'll take on Ware County at 7:00 p.m. on April 15. As for Fitzgerald, their break will end when they face Colquitt County at 7:30 p.m. on April 8.
