Miller had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Their defense stepped up to hand the Trinity Classical Academy Knights a 7-0 shutout on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Miller, bringing their record for this year to 9-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for Trinity Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Miller will square off against Mountain View at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Miller knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Mountain View likes a good challenge. Trinity Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
