Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Coastal Academy walked away with it. They secured a 33-27 W over the Orange Glen Patriots on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Stingrays, who have now won three matches in a row.

Coastal Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addison Smith led the charge by putting up eight points. Smith continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Heiress Afalava, who posted nine points along with six rebounds and five assists.

Coastal Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-6. As for Orange Glen, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Coastal Academy will square off against O'Farrell Charter at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. O'Farrell Charter will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Coastal Academy surely won't give up without a fight. Orange Glen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
