There's no place like home for Fairbury, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past the Ord Chanticleers 13-6 on Thursday. The match marked the Jeffs' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Fairbury is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Ord, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Fairbury will be taking part in a tournament against Elkhorn North at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Jeffs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season.
