Soccer Game Preview: Gustine vs. Orestimba

The Gustine Reds are taking a road trip to challenge the Orestimba Warriors at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Gustine will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

If Orestimba heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Gustine took over last week. Gustine walked away with a 4-2 win over Chowchilla on Friday. Shandel Aguilera was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Orestimba was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Los Banos could gain the upper hand on Thursday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Gustine now has a winning record of 4-3-1. Orestimba's draw makes their record 5-3-1 this season.

Gustine came up short against Orestimba when the teams last played back in January, falling 2-0. Can Gustine avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
