Soccer Game Preview: Berkmar vs. Buford

The Berkmar Patriots will head out to face off against the Buford Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Berkmar was handed a four-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They beat Brookwood by a goal, winning 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Patriots as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Buford ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Central Gwinnett 4-3. The high-scoring effort was just what Wolves needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Buford's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Berkmar, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
