It's playoff time, and La Jolla had no trouble coming through when it counted. They snuck past the El Camino Wildcats with a 39-34 win on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Leading La Jolla to victory were Soila Chadwick and Reagan Bennett. Chadwick almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds, while Bennett went 5-for-11 on her way to 13 points. Bennett is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

La Jolla smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in five consecutive matches.

La Jolla pushed their record up to 20-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for El Camino, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

La Jolla will look to defend their home court on Saturday against San Dieguito Academy at 5:30 p.m. La Jolla is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.6 points per game this season. El Camino does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
