Pike County has gone 9-1 against Jackson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pirates will look to defend their home field against the Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Pike County got their first taste of in-conference action on Friday and they started things off strong. They put the hurt on Callaway with a sharp 12-1 win. Considering the Pirates have won four games by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Jackson entered their tilt with Jasper County on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Hurricanes by a score of 8-3.

Pike County's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Jackson, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Pike County suffered a grim 9-2 defeat to Jackson in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Can the Pirates avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
