Slippery Rock had won four straight games and Cj Sabo did her part to make it five on Thursday. The Slippery Rock Rockets blew past the Hickory Hornets 64-38 thanks in part to Sabo, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten rebounds. What's more, she also posted a 63% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Hickory had strong showings from Kimora Roberts, who went 5 for 12 en route to 10 points and six boards, and Ellie Ference, who posted 11 points.

Slippery Rock's win bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Hickory, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-12.

Slippery Rock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 52-49 victory against Grove City on the 10th. As for Hickory, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-33 win against Sharon on the 10th.
