Basketball Recap: Wyomissing Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wyomissing had won two straight games and Amaya Stewart did her part to make it three on Thursday. The Wyomissing Spartans breezed by the Brandywine Heights Area Bullets to the tune of 55-17 thanks in part to Stewart, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Wyomissing's points.

Another player making a difference was Addie Loeb, who posted six points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards.

Wyomissing's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Brandywine Heights Area, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Wyomissing wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 44-33 victory against Northeastern on the 1st. Brandywine Heights Area has also already played their next contest, a 48-18 defeat against Conrad Weiser on the 1st.
