Basketball Game Preview: University Trojans vs. Northwood Timberwolves

University is on a six-game streak of home losses also dating back to last season, Northwood a five-game streak of away losses also dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The University Trojans will host the Northwood Timberwolves at 5:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

University is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Laguna Beach on Friday. University lost 49-26 to Laguna Beach. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 898th, while the Breakers are ranked 413th).

Meanwhile, Northwood ended up a good deal behind Irvine on Friday and lost 54-39.

University's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Northwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-19.
