Carrollton came out on top against Northside on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive nine-run third inning. The Trojans blew past the Patriots 12-5. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 matches by six runs or more this season.

Carrollton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Northside, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 22-8 record.
