Softball Recap: Davenport Takes a Loss

Davenport entered their matchup against Pawnee on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Black Bears by a score of 4-3. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by just one run.

Davenport's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Pawnee, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

Coincidentally, Davenport and Pawnee will both be playing Sterling the next time they take the field. The Black Bears will host the Tigers at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 3:30 p.m.
