Soccer Game Preview: Murray County vs. Sonoraville

The Murray County Indians will challenge the Sonoraville Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sonoraville took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Murray County, who comes in off a win.

Murray County is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They came out on top against Coahulla Creek by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The win was all the more spectacular given Murray County's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 286th, while Coahulla Creek are ranked 125th).

Meanwhile, Sonoraville fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against North Murray on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mountaineers by a score of 2-1. Sonoraville have struggled against North Murray recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Sonoraville's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Murray County, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
